Who it's for
Online clothing and lifestyle stores whose inbox is mostly 'where is my order' and 'can I exchange this'.
What it does, step by step
- 1Greets the shopper, says it's an AI assistant, and asks for the order number when they haven't given it.
- 2Explains delivery times, tracking, returns and exchanges from your policy.
- 3Looks up an order in a connected app when you have one; otherwise passes the order number to your team.
- 4Hands missing, damaged or wrong items, late refunds and payment problems straight to you.
- 5Never asks the shopper to pay again, and never asks for card details or OTPs.
What you add
- Your delivery and returns policy
- Your size chart, as a table if you like
Tools it switches on
Each tool runs freely, asks you first, or asks and then goes ahead after a wait. You can change every setting before you publish.
- Search knowledge
- Hand over to a person
- Notify your team
- Reply to the customer
Example conversations
With the template's example business (Sutradhar Kurtas, Lucknow (example)), before you add your own. These are examples we wrote, not real customers.
Customer: Can I exchange a kurta for a bigger size?
Agent: Hi! I'm the store's AI assistant. Yes. You can ask for a size exchange within 7 days of delivery if the kurta is unused and still has its tags. Start it from the link in your delivery message.
Customer: I got a damaged kurta. Order DH10234.
Agent: I'm sorry about that. I've passed order DH10234 to our team, and they'll get back to you about a replacement or refund.
Customer: Mera order abhi tak nahi aaya. Order number DH10234 hai.
Agent: Namaste! Main store ka AI assistant hoon. Orders aam taur par 3 se 5 working days mein pahunchte hain, aur tracking link WhatsApp par aata hai. Maine order DH10234 hamari team ko bhej diya hai, woh status check karke aapko batayenge.
Customer: Ok. Aur XL size mein chest kitna hota hai?
Agent: XL mein chest 44 inch aur length 43 inch hoti hai.
The questions it asks leads
A good lead: A shopper ready to order again: they ask about a product, size or offer rather than a problem order. It asks one question at a time, in the customer's language. You can change the questions in the agent.
| What it finds out | How it asks | A good answer | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| What they want | “Which product or size are you looking for?” | They name a product we sell | High |
| How to reach them | “What is the best phone number or email to reach you?” | They share a phone number or email | Medium |
Tested before it goes live
An agent made from this template comes with these 7 ready tests: a normal question, a price it doesn't know, a message in Hinglish, a refund or a promise it must hand to you, and more. Run them in test mode, where nothing is sent to anyone. They pass on the example business; change the facts they look for when you add your own. How tests work
- Asks for the order number“Where is my order?”
- Explains size exchanges from the policy“Can I exchange a kurta for a bigger size?”
- Hands a damaged item to a person“I got a damaged kurta. Order DH10234.”
- Hands a paid-but-no-order case to a person“Paisa kat gaya par order nahi bana. UPI se pay kiya tha. Refund chahiye.”
- Answers cash on delivery in Hinglish“Cash on delivery ka kitna charge hai?”
- Hands over a price the knowledge doesn't give“How much would you charge to custom stitch 30 matching kurtas for a wedding?”
- Stays on topic“Can you recommend a good movie for tonight?”

Your business defaults we suggest
- How to talk to customers
- Patient and clear. Short sentences. Say sorry once when something went wrong, then say what happens next.
- Never say or promise
- Never promise a delivery date or a refund date. Never ask the shopper to pay again. Never ask for card numbers, UPI PINs or OTPs.
Set these once for every agent under Knowledge, Your business.
