Quickstart
LiveSign in, create your workspace, and get one agent answering from your own information. About fifteen minutes.
Note. The fastest start is a goal, such as Post on LinkedIn and Instagram: it makes the assistant, switches on its tools and adds its schedule. Pick a goal in the app → or read Start from a goal first.
Before you start
You need an email address that you can open on the device you are using. A work email works best, because your teammates will recognise it.
You don't need a card. Every new workspace gets ₹25 of free credits, which is plenty for building and testing your first agent. After that you pay as you go; see Limits and costs.
1. Sign in
- Go to app.dhanurai.com.
- Enter your email and select Continue with email.
- Open the email from Dhanur AI. Its subject starts with your code, for example "123456 is your Dhanur AI sign-in code".
- Type the 6-digit code into Sign-in code. You are signed in as soon as you enter the sixth digit.
There is no separate sign-up form. The first time you sign in, we create your account.
If you see Continue with Google on the sign-in page, you can use that instead. See Sign in for the details and limits.
2. Create your workspace
If nobody has invited you yet, the app asks you to set up a workspace:
- Enter a Company or workspace name of at least 2 characters.
- If you like, pick an answer under What will your first agents do? and choose your Team size. Both are optional.
- During early access you may be asked for an Invite code, or who sent you. It is optional, it only tells us where you heard about us, and it changes nothing about your workspace.
- Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
- Select Create workspace.
You are now the workspace's Owner. The workspace starts with one project, called Main project, and the app opens on Home.
Note. If a teammate has already invited you, you skip this step. Signing in with the invited email address adds you to their workspace straight away.
3. Set up your first agent
Start from a goal
On Goals in the sidebar, or What do you want help with? on Home, there are four goals: Get clients and book calls, Post on LinkedIn and Instagram, Answer every enquiry and Follow up leads. Select Set it up on one and we:
- Make its assistant, or reuse one you already made for that job, answering from your website, never a template's example business. Pick the kind of business first (a consultant, an agency, a shop, a clinic and so on) and we use the template that fits it best, such as Discovery call booking for a consultant who wants clients.
- Switch on the tools it needs, keeping any setting you already chose. Anything that acts outside the app, such as posting to LinkedIn, asks you first.
- Add its schedule where the work is regular. The marketing assistant drafts the week's posts every Monday at 10:00.
Then the goal's checklist shows every step with one of five labels:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Live | Working now. |
| Needs you | Only you can do it, such as connecting LinkedIn or publishing. Its button opens the right page and points at what to click. |
| Waiting | On another step. For example, the weekly plan of posts starts once you publish the agent. |
| Not yet | Not available yet, and the step says what to do instead. For example, posting as a LinkedIn company page needs LinkedIn's approval, which we haven't applied for, so posts go to your own profile. |
| Not possible | No app can do it, and the step says what to do instead. For example, LinkedIn doesn't let any app read your messages, so put your chat link in your profile's Featured section. |
The quickest way: from your website
If your business has a website, paste its address under Set up an agent from your website on Home and select Set it up. In about two minutes:
- We read your website, up to 25 pages, and check it again every week so the agent stays up to date.
- We pick the job it does, from the templates below, and name it.
- We make a draft agent that answers from your website instead of the template's example shop, fill in your business name and a line about it if you haven't, and add Ready checks: tests built from three questions your customers might ask, plus two safety checks.
Then you try it in a test chat right there, where nothing is sent to anyone. When its answers look right, select Publish agent and Make the link to get a chat link and QR code to share. Nothing goes live before you do.
It uses one AI call, charged in credits like any other. If we can't read your website, the page says why; add your details step by step instead.
Step by step
On Home, Get set up lists five steps and Start here walks you through them one at a time. They are, in order:
- Tell it about your business. Enter your website address and we read your pages. No website, or a page we can't read? Upload your price list or type in your FAQ instead — it works just as well. Or teach it by chatting: it asks what it needs to know, and you can send a photo of your rate card.
- Pick the job it does. Customer questions, enquiries, bookings, orders and returns, admissions, or HR questions from your staff. We attach what you just added and take out the example text the templates ship with.
- Ask it three real questions in the test chat. Nothing is sent to anyone. If an answer is wrong, the knowledge is missing something: add it and ask again.
- Decide what it does without you. The app lists everything the agent may do on its own. Everything else waits in Tasks for your approval.
- Put it in front of customers. Publish it, then take the chat link and send it to someone.
Set up your first agent has the detail for each step.
Note. Each template comes with an example business we invented, loaded only if you tick Start with example data. An agent that still has it is marked Our example text, and Publish agent stops to show you a line of it before it will go live. You can publish it anyway while you are testing; we just won't let it happen by accident.
Once it is published, you can also put the agent on your website with website chat, give it its own email address, or start it from your own systems with triggers and the API. Read Agents for every setting.
4. Invite your team
You need the Owner or Admin role for this.
- Select Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. On a phone, it is at the end of the menu bar at the top.
- Choose Members.
- Select Invite.
- Enter your teammate's Email and choose a Role. The role starts as Builder.
- Select Send invite.
Your teammate gets an email and joins when they sign in with that address.
During early access, a workspace has 2 seats, and a pending invite takes a seat. So you and one teammate fit. Read Members and roles before you choose a role.
5. Install the app
- Android, or Chrome or Edge on a computer: open the account menu and choose Install app. On a computer, the account menu is your name at the bottom of the sidebar. On a phone, it is your picture at the top right.
- iPhone or iPad: in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
Install the app has the full steps.
What next
- Follow Set up your first agent if you want the detail on each step.
- No website? Teach your agent by chatting, with photos of your rate card or a PDF.
- Learn how approvals work in Tasks and approvals.
- Learn what each role can do in Members and roles.
- Check the Feature status page to see what is live and what is next.
