Sell from your shop page

Pilot

A page at dhanurai.com/b/your-name with your products and your prices. Customers order, you accept, and they pay you directly by UPI or in cash. In pilot.

Pilot: only for workspaces our team switches on. The shop works today in a few workspaces while we test it with real sellers. If your app doesn't show Orders, Products and Shop settings, the shop isn't on for your workspace yet. To ask for it, add your business to the pilot list.

Your shop page lists what you sell, at the prices you set. A customer picks what they want, sees the exact total and places an order. You accept it, they pay you directly by UPI or in cash, and you get it ready and hand it over. Every order waits for you on the Orders board.

In the app, the shop is under Shop in the sidebar: Orders, Products and Shop settings. On a phone, open More.

Set up Shop settings

You need the Owner or Admin role. Open Shop settings. The preview beside the form shows your page as customers will see it. When you're done, select Save settings.

  • The page's link. Your page is at dhanurai.com/b/ followed by a link you choose: small letters, numbers and dashes. If you change it later, the old link stops working.
  • Your business. Your business name, opening hours, phone and WhatsApp, and an optional email and About. Your helper knows these too.
  • Seller details. The law asks every online seller to show these: the seller's legal name (your own name, or your firm's registered name), the area shown on the page, and your full address. For a home business, keep Show only the area on the page on, and your full address stays private.
  • Food. If you sell cakes, sweets, snacks, meals or anything else people eat, turn on We sell food and enter your FSSAI licence or registration number: the 14 digits on your FSSAI certificate. Your page shows it as "FSSAI Lic. No.". The law asks food sellers to show it, so with We sell food on, your page can't go live without it.
  • Grievance contact. A name, and a phone number or an email, for complaints.
  • Returns and refunds. Your policy, in your own words. Customers see it before they order. If you take returns or give refunds, say when and how.
  • Pickup and delivery. Offer pickup, your own delivery, or both. For delivery, set the fee (0 for no delivery charge), an optional order amount from which there is no fee, and where you deliver. A pickup note, like "Pickup from Vaishali Nagar", is shown at checkout.
  • Getting paid. Your UPI ID, like yourname@okhdfcbank, and the name your UPI app shows for it. Turn on You take cash at pickup or delivery if you do. You need a UPI ID, cash, or both.
  • GST. Only if you're registered for GST: your GSTIN, and whether your prices include GST. If they don't, pick a GST rate for each product on Products.

Add products

Builders and above add products. Open Products and select Add.

  1. Enter the Name, and if you like, a Category (like Cakes or Gift boxes: your page groups products by it) and a Description (what customers ask: the size, eggless or not, how long it keeps).
  2. Under Sizes or options, give each size its own price, like 500 g for ₹650 and 1 kg for ₹1,200. Select Add a size for another. A product with one price needs no size name.
  3. If you want a limit, set Most per order.
  4. Select Save. Saving confirms every price on the product, under your name. Customers only ever pay prices you confirmed.
  5. Open the product again to add Photos: up to 5 real photos of it. We remove a photo's hidden details, such as where it was taken, before it goes on your page.

To stop selling something for a while, switch off In stock. Your page shows it as sold out, and nobody can order it.

Open Shop settings. Under Your page, a box lists anything still missing, such as a grievance contact or a product in stock. When nothing is missing, select Put my page live.

Then share the link yourself, with Copy link:

  • in your Instagram bio;
  • on WhatsApp, with your regular customers and in your status;
  • at your counter, printed on a card.

Search engines don't show shop pages yet, so customers find yours through the link you share.

While your page is live, Save settings won't take away anything the page needs to be live, such as your returns policy, your grievance contact or a way to pay: it tells you what, and saves nothing. To change one of those, take the page down first.

To stop orders for a while, switch off Taking orders at the top of Orders. Customers can still see your page and call you. To take the page down, select Take the page down in Shop settings.

How an order works

  1. A customer orders. They choose pickup or delivery, see the exact total with any delivery charge and GST, and choose UPI or cash. They get a private order page that updates by itself. Owners, Admins and Managers get an email, and an alert on their phone if they've turned alerts on.
  2. You accept it, or say you can't. On Orders, select Accept, then Confirm. Or select Can't take it, pick a reason and select Send. Until you accept, the customer can cancel from their order page.
  3. The customer pays you. Once you accept, their order page shows a button to pay by UPI and a QR code, both for your UPI ID, with the exact amount and the order number in the note. The money goes straight from their account to yours. If an order comes to more than ₹1,00,000, about the most one UPI payment usually allows, the page asks them to call you to pay another way.
  4. You check, then mark it paid. Open your own bank or UPI app and check the money has arrived. Then open the order, select Mark paid and choose Paid by UPI or Paid in cash. A screenshot from a customer isn't proof of payment: anyone can edit a screenshot. Only an Owner, Admin or Manager can mark an order paid, and the order keeps who did it and when.
  5. Ready. When it's packed, select Mark ready. The customer's order page says it's ready.
  6. Delivered or picked up. Select Mark delivered, or Picked up.

To tell the customer about a step, open the order and select Tell the customer on WhatsApp. It opens your own WhatsApp with the update and their order link written in.

To cancel an order you've accepted, open it and select Cancel order, with a reason the customer will see. If they had paid, return the money yourself, as your refund policy says.

Team members

Your counter staff can work orders without seeing the rest of your workspace. Invite them as a Team member (see Invite a teammate). In a workspace with the shop, they get Orders beside My leads: at the top of the screen on a laptop, and at the bottom on a phone. When they sign in, they still land on My leads.

A Team member:

  • sees every order on the board: what was ordered, the total, and how the customer pays;
  • marks an accepted order ready, and then delivered or picked up;
  • sees the customer's name, phone, address and note while the order is accepted or ready, to hand it over or deliver it. Before you accept an order, and once it's handed over, they see the first name and the order only.

A Team member can't accept or turn down an order, cancel one, mark one paid, pause orders, or open Products or Shop settings. New-order alerts go to Owners, Admins and Managers, not to Team members.

Cash

To take cash, turn on You take cash at pickup or delivery in Shop settings. At checkout, customers can then choose Cash when you pick it up or Cash on delivery, and their order page says they pay you in cash.

When the cash is in your hand, open the order, select Mark paid, then Paid in cash. A Team member can take the cash at the counter, but an Owner, Admin or Manager marks the order paid.

Good to know

  • UPI limits. These are NPCI's rules (NPCI runs UPI), as of October 2026:
    • A payment to a personal UPI ID counts as person to person. NPCI caps what one UPI ID can receive this way at 25 payments or ₹4 lakh a day.
    • A business QR from your bank or UPI app is one of two kinds. A small merchant QR has no fee, up to ₹10,000 a payment, ₹25,000 a day and ₹1 lakh a month. A merchant QR will pay a fee of 0.4% on payments above ₹2,000 once NPCI starts it, which NPCI has said will be after Diwali, on a date it hasn't announced yet. Your bank or app can tell you which kind yours is.
  • We never hold your money. Customers pay you directly, by UPI or in cash. Dhanur never collects, holds, splits or refunds a payment.
  • No fee per order during the pilot. We charge nothing per order while the pilot runs.
