Send outreach from your Gmail

Live

Email a list of business contacts from your own Gmail, with each email written by an agent, up to two follow-ups, and a stop to it all when they reply.

Early access. Google is still reviewing Dhanur AI's app, so while you connect, Google says it hasn't verified the app. Select Continue to go on. See Connect Google, Slack and HubSpot.

A campaign emails a list of business contacts from your own Gmail address. The agent writes each email for that person from your brief, sends up to two follow-ups, and stops as soon as someone replies. Replies come back to the agent, which answers them from the same Gmail.

You need the Owner, Admin or Builder role.

Before you start

  • Connect Gmail in Integrations. Outreach always sends from your own address, never from Dhanur AI's.
  • Turn on email for the agent, set to Reply by email. Replies to your outreach come back to the agent's address. See Answer customer emails.
  • Publish the agent. Campaigns use the published version.
  • Only email business contacts who can reasonably expect to hear from you. You confirm this every time you start a campaign.

Create a campaign

  1. Open the agent and select the Outreach tab, then New campaign.
  2. Fill in:
    • Campaign name, for your own reference.
    • Send from: the Gmail account.
    • Subject line. Follow-ups use the same subject with "Re:".
    • What to say: who you are, what you offer, and what you'd like them to do, such as reply for a 15-minute call. The agent writes each email from this and the contact's details, and never adds prices, clients or claims that aren't here.
    • Follow-ups: none, one or two, counted in days after the first email.
    • Emails a day, at most: up to 100. A new sender who suddenly emails hundreds of strangers gets marked as spam, so start small.
    • Before each email goes: Check each one first (the default), or Send on its own.
  3. Select Create campaign.

Add contacts

Select Add contacts (CSV) and choose a CSV file with an email column. It can also have name, company, website and notes columns, which the agent uses to write each email. A campaign holds up to 500 contacts.

Rows without a valid email, addresses already on the campaign, and anyone who has asked your workspace not to email them are left out, with the reason.

Check and start

  1. Select Preview an email to see what the agent writes for the first contact. The preview isn't sent.
  2. Fix anything listed in the yellow box, such as a missing subject.
  3. Select Start sending, tick the confirmation and select Start sending again.

Emails go out Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm India time, up to your daily limit. In Check each one first mode, each email waits in Tasks for your OK. You can edit it, or approve many at once.

Select Pause at any time. Starting again carries on where it stopped.

What each email includes

  • The agent's email to that person.
  • Your email signature, if the agent's email settings have one.
  • A line saying an AI assistant wrote it and that it was sent with Dhanur AI.
  • "If you'd rather not hear from us, reply STOP and we won't email you again." Some email apps also show an unsubscribe link, which works the same way.

When they reply

  • Any reply ends their emails, and the agent answers it in the same conversation, from the same Gmail, following the agent's approval setting for replies.
  • STOP or unsubscribe opts that address out of every campaign and follow-up in your workspace.
  • Each contact's progress shows on the Outreach tab: not sent yet, waiting for your OK, sent, replied, asked to stop, finished or failed.

Costs

Each email uses AI to write, like a reply. Sending through your Gmail costs nothing extra today.
