Troubleshooting
LiveThe messages Dhanur AI shows, what each one means and what to do about it.
Look for the exact message you saw. If you can't find it here, or the fix doesn't work, contact us and include the message word for word.
Signing in
"Enter a valid email address." The address doesn't look like an email address. Check for typos and spaces, and make sure it looks like name@company.com.
The code email hasn't arrived.
- Wait a minute, then check your spam, junk and promotions folders.
- Search your inbox for "Dhanur AI sign-in code". The email comes from Dhanur AI at no-reply@dhanurai.com.
- On the code screen, check the address shown after "We sent a 6-digit code to". If it's wrong, select Use another email.
- Select Send a new code. Remember that you can request 5 codes an hour.
- On a work email, your company's filters may be holding it. Ask your IT team to allow email from dhanurai.com.
"We couldn't send the code just now. Try again in a minute." Our email service didn't accept the message. Wait a minute and try again.
"Too many codes requested. Try again in a little while." Each email address can request 5 codes an hour. Wait before you try again. If a recent code is still in your inbox, use the newest one, which is valid for 10 minutes.
"Too many sign-in attempts from this network. Try again later." Each network can request 30 codes an hour. This can happen on busy shared office Wi-Fi. Wait a while, or switch to another connection, such as mobile data.
"That code is not right. Check the email and try again." The code doesn't match. Check for typos. Only the newest code works, so if you asked for more than one, use the code from the latest email. Each wrong try counts toward the limit of 5.
"Too many wrong attempts. Request a new code." The code was entered wrongly 5 times, so it no longer works. Select Send a new code.
"That code has expired. Request a new one." More than 10 minutes have passed, the code has already been used, or no code was sent to the address you typed. Select Send a new code.
"That code was already used. Request a new one." The same code was sent twice at once, for example from two tabs. Request a new code and enter it once.
"We couldn't send the code. Try again." or "Sign-in failed. Try again." The app couldn't reach our servers. Check your connection and try again.
Google sign-in
There is no Continue with Google button. Google sign-in isn't switched on right now. Use Continue with email instead. You will reach the same account if you use the same address.
"Google sign-in is not set up yet." Same as above. Use an email code.
"Google sign-in was cancelled." The Google screen was closed or declined. Select Continue with Google again.
"This sign-in link has expired. Please try again." More than 10 minutes passed on the Google screen, or the link was used already, for example after pressing Back. Start again from the sign-in page.
"Google did not confirm this email address." Your Google account's email address isn't verified with Google. Verify it with Google, or sign in with an email code instead.
A technical message such as "token exchange failed" or "Google unreachable". Google didn't respond as expected. Try again in a minute, or use an email code.
Staying signed in
You were sent back to the sign-in page. A sign-in lasts 30 days on each browser. You'll also have to sign in again if you signed out, cleared your cookies or used a private window. Sign in again, and you'll return to the page you were on.
The home-screen app on iPhone asks you to sign in again. On iPhone and iPad, an app added to the home screen keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari. Sign in once inside the app.
Workspaces and team
"Workspace not found." You aren't a member of that workspace. You may have left it, been removed, or opened an old link. Reload the page and the app will open a workspace you belong to. To get back in, ask an Owner or Admin to invite you.
"This needs the Admin role or higher." Your role doesn't allow this action. Ask an Owner or Admin. See Members and roles.
"Your plan includes 2 seats. Remove a member or revoke an invite first." Every seat is taken, and pending invites count too. Select Revoke on an invite you don't need, or remove a member. To ask for more seats, email us.
"That person is already a member." They are already in this workspace. To change their access, see Change a role.
"You can't invite someone with that role." Only Owners can invite someone as an Owner.
"You can't change this member's role." Admins can't change an Owner's role or make anyone an Owner. Ask an Owner.
"You can't remove this member." Admins can't remove Owners, and Builders and Viewers can only remove themselves.
"A workspace needs at least one owner." You tried to demote, remove or leave as the only Owner. Make someone else an Owner first. See Change a role.
An invited teammate can't see the workspace.
- They must sign in with exactly the invited address. If they use Google, the Google account must have that address.
- If they were already signed in, they should sign out and sign in again, because invites are accepted at sign-in.
- Ask an Owner or Admin to check Settings, then Members. The invite should still show as "Invited, waiting for sign-in". If it was revoked, send a new one.
"Our terms have been updated" This box appears when our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy change, and the first time you open the app after joining through an invite. Read the linked pages, tick I agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy., then select Accept and continue. If you don't want to accept, select Sign out.
"Please accept the Terms and the Privacy Policy to continue." Tick the agreement box, then select Create workspace.
"Give your workspace a name of at least 2 characters." or "The name must be at least 2 characters." Use a longer name. Spaces at the start and end don't count toward the 2 characters.
"Unknown use case." Reload the page and choose an option again.
Projects
"Your plan allows 1 project. Write to outreach@prodigalai.com if you need more." During early access, each workspace has one project, and Main project already uses it. Email us if you need another one.
"Give the project a name of at least 2 characters." Use a longer name.
"Project not found." The project isn't in your current workspace. Reload the page and pick a project from Settings, then Projects.
Agents and tasks
"The agent is still working on the last message." Wait a few seconds for the reply, then send your next message.
"This task reached its spending limit, so the agent stopped." Each task has a spending cap. Start a new conversation. If this happens often, shorten the agent's knowledge or lower its autonomy limit.
"The platform reached today's AI spending limit. Please try again later." or "AI work is paused on the platform right now. Please try again later." AI work is paused across Dhanur AI while our team reviews a safety limit. Try again later.
"The AI model did not respond. Please try again in a minute." The AI model provider didn't answer in time. Wait a minute and send the message again.
"The agent used all (number) steps without finishing." The agent reached its autonomy limit, so it handed the task to your team. Make the instructions clearer, or raise the Autonomy limit on the agent.
"Turn on the Search knowledge tool below." You added knowledge, but the agent can't search it. Switch on Search knowledge under Tools, or long knowledge is left out.
"You have view access. A builder or admin can change this agent." Viewers can see agents but not change or test them. Ask an Owner or Admin to change your role.
There is no Leads tab on an agent. The tab appears only when the agent's Save a lead tool is on.
Credits
"Out of credits — add credits in Settings → Plan & usage." The workspace has used its credits, so agents stop taking on new work until you add more. Test chats and evaluations use credits too.
- Your balance is always at the bottom of the sidebar. It turns amber, with Low or Empty, before and when it runs out.
- Select it, or go to Settings → Plan & usage, and top up from ₹50 by UPI, card or net banking. You get a GST invoice for every top-up.
- Tasks that stopped say so. Once you've topped up, start them again from Tasks.
"Credits are running low" on Home Your balance is below its alert level. Change the level, or turn the alert off, under Settings → Plan & usage.
Customers can't reach your agent
It works in the test chat but customers don't get answers.
- Check the agent is published: its page says is live at the top. Changes you make afterwards stay a draft until you select Publish agent again.
- Check the channel is on. The is live panel lists where people reach it: the chat link, the chat on your website and email. Each one has Turn on if it's off.
- For the chat on your website, check the snippet is on every page you expect, and that you published your site after adding it.
- Check your credits (see above).
WhatsApp doesn't answer. WhatsApp is in pilot, on numbers our team connects. Ask us on WhatsApp to connect yours.
"LinkedIn asks you to sign in again." LinkedIn keeps a connection for 60 days. Reconnect under Integrations. The goal checklist reminds you a week before.
A post is waiting but nothing happened. A draft waits for your OK. Open Tasks or Chat, find the draft, and select Approve.
Posting as a company page. Not available yet. Posts go to your own profile.
Instagram says the app isn't available, or won't let you sign in. Posting to Instagram is in pilot: our team has to add your account to our Meta app first, and you accept the invite in Instagram (on the web: Settings, Apps and websites, Tester invites). Ask us to add yours.
"This Instagram account is personal." Instagram only lets apps post to professional accounts. Switch in the Instagram app (Settings, Account type and tools, Switch to professional account), then connect again.
A draft can't be approved. Instagram has no text-only posts. If the card says Add a photo to post this on Instagram, find a stock photo or use your own, and approve the new draft.
"Instagram is still preparing the photo." Nothing was posted. Ask for the post again in a few minutes and approve the new draft.
Connected apps
Nothing happens when you select Connect. The app's sign-in opens in a pop-up. Allow pop-ups for app.dhanurai.com and try again.
There is no Connect button. Only Owners and Admins can connect apps. Connected apps are also a pilot, open to a small number of workspaces.
"App connections are switched off on this server" Connected apps aren't available right now. Accounts connected earlier are still listed, but you can't add new ones or add app actions to agents.
Anywhere in the app
"The service is unavailable. Try again in a minute." The app couldn't reach our servers. Wait a minute and try again. If it keeps happening, tell us.
"Cross-site request blocked." The request didn't come from the Dhanur AI app itself. Open app.dhanurai.com directly rather than through another site. If that doesn't help, try turning off browser extensions that change web pages.
A message that starts with a field name, such as "name: String should have at most 80 characters". A value is too long or too short. Names can be up to 80 characters.
"Something went wrong. Try again.", "That didn't work.", "Could not save." or a similar short message. The action didn't finish. Reload the page and try again. If it keeps happening, email us what you were doing.
"Page not found" The link is wrong or the page has moved. Select Go to Dhanur AI to start again.
"You are offline" Your device has no connection. Reconnect and select Try again. See Install the app.
Install app isn't in the account menu. It only appears when your browser can install the app and it isn't already installed. Safari and Firefox never show it. See Install the app.
