What projects are for

A project is an area inside a workspace. The app describes projects as a way to "separate agents, knowledge and limits inside one workspace, for example by team or client."

Each project has its own agents, and the tasks and leads that come from them. The Agents and Tasks pages show the project you are in. Connected apps belong to the whole workspace, so agents in any project can use them.

Every workspace starts with one project, Main project, marked Default.

Where you see projects

• In the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. The current project's name is shown under the workspace name.
• In Settings, under Projects. This page lists every project with its Name and the date it was Created. The project you are in is marked Current.

Switch project

Use either of these:

• In Settings, then Projects, select Switch next to the project.
• Open the workspace switcher and pick a project under Projects. This list only appears when the workspace has more than one project.

The app remembers your workspace and project on this device until you sign out. When you switch to a different workspace, you start in that workspace's default project.

Create a project

Owners and Admins can create projects. Go to Settings, then Projects, and select New project. Create a project has the steps.

During early access, each workspace has 1 project, which Main project already uses. If you try to add another, you'll see: "Your plan allows 1 project. Write to outreach@prodigalai.com if you need more."

Rename a project

Owners and Admins see a pencil button next to each project:

1. Select the pencil button next to the project.
2. In Rename project, change the Name.
3. Select Save.

Project names must be at least 2 characters. Names longer than 60 characters are cut to 60, and extra spaces are removed.

Who can do what
