Rename your workspace

You need the Owner or Admin role. For other roles, the name field is greyed out and there is no Save button.

1. Make sure you are in the workspace you want to rename. The switcher at the top of the sidebar shows its name.
2. Select Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. On a phone, scroll the menu bar at the top to Settings.
3. Stay on General, the first settings page.
4. Under Workspace, change the name.
5. Select Save. You'll see "Saved."

The new name shows straight away in the workspace switcher, and everyone in the workspace sees it.

Names can be 2 to 80 characters long, and extra spaces are removed. The Save button stays greyed out until the name is different and at least 2 characters long.

If something goes wrong

• "The name must be at least 2 characters.": use a longer name.
• "This needs the Admin role or higher.": ask an Owner or Admin to rename it.
