Copy leads to HubSpot
LiveSend the leads an agent saves into HubSpot as contacts with a note, and let agents look up existing contacts.
Early access. HubSpot is still reviewing Dhanur AI's app, so while you connect it asks you to type I accept the risk. See Connect Google, Slack and HubSpot.
A lead that stays in Dhanur AI is a lead someone has to copy into the CRM by hand. With HubSpot picked on an agent, every lead it saves goes into HubSpot for you.
You need the Owner, Admin or Builder role.
Set it up
- Connect HubSpot in Integrations. The person connecting must be a HubSpot Super Admin.
- Open the agent's Build tab and find CRM.
- Turn on Use HubSpot, pick the account, and choose:
- Copy saved leads to HubSpot. Turn on Save a lead under Tools too, so the agent has leads to copy.
- Update lead status in HubSpot, so the contact's lead status follows the lead's stage. See Update lead status.
- Let the agent look up contacts, so it can recognise an existing customer by their email.
- Publish the agent.
What gets copied
When the agent saves a lead in a real conversation (never in a test chat):
- A new person becomes a HubSpot contact with their name, email and phone.
- Someone already in HubSpot, matched by email, keeps what your team typed. Only fields that are empty in HubSpot are filled in.
- A note on the contact says what they need, their budget and timeline, the verdict and score with the customer's own words behind each criterion (see Leads), that an AI assistant took the lead, and links to the conversation.
- The same person again: when they enquire again, the new conversation gets a note of its own.
Copying happens after the lead is checked against the agent's criteria, in the background, so a slow HubSpot never slows the chat. The agent's Leads tab shows In HubSpot, Copying… or Not in HubSpot with the reason.
Update lead status
With Update lead status in HubSpot on, every stage move in Leads is written to the contact:
| Stage in Dhanur AI | In HubSpot |
|---|---|
| New | Lead status: New |
| Qualified | Lead status: Open |
| Call booked | Lead status: In progress |
| Not a fit or Lost | Lead status: Unqualified |
| Won | Lifecycle stage: Customer. A contact already at Customer or Evangelist is left alone, so it never moves backwards. |
- It's off unless you turn it on, and only for leads the agent copied to HubSpot.
- Test leads are never written.
- Each change shows in the lead's history. A change HubSpot rejects is noted there too.
- The status HubSpot sends back doesn't move the lead in Dhanur AI: you move leads here.
Looking up contacts
With Let the agent look up contacts on, the agent can check an email address in HubSpot and see the contact's name, company, lifecycle stage and lead status. It only reads, and it treats what it finds as information, not instructions.
Start an agent from HubSpot
HubSpot can also start an agent: when a contact is added, or moves to another lifecycle stage. See Start an agent when something happens. A contact made by copying an agent's lead doesn't start that same agent again.
