Answer your team in Slack
LiveAdd Dhanur AI to your Slack so your team can ask an agent questions by mentioning it or messaging it directly.
Your team already asks each other "what's our refund policy?" in Slack. With Slack connected, one of your agents answers instead, from its knowledge, right in the thread.
Set it up
You need the Owner or Admin role.
- Open Integrations and select Add to Slack under Google, Slack and HubSpot.
- Sign in to Slack and allow the app into your Slack workspace.
- Back in Integrations, pick the Agent that answers in Slack. Only published agents are listed. An internal helper, such as the HR policy template, is a good fit.
Ask it something
- In a channel: invite the app to the channel, then mention it:
@Dhanur AI what's our leave policy? The agent replies in the thread of your message. To ask a follow-up in that thread, mention it again. - In a direct message: message the app. It answers every message, in a thread under it.
Each thread is one conversation in Tasks, with the channel Slack, so a follow-up in the same thread carries on where it left off.
Good to know
- Replies go straight to Slack, like Team chat, because the people asking are your own team. Other actions, such as emails, still follow the agent's approval settings.
- In channels the app only sees messages that mention it. It can't read the rest of the channel.
- Answers use your workspace's credits, like any other channel.
- Removing the app from Slack disconnects it in Dhanur AI too.
