What a month costs a small business

AiSensy
₹2,850 a month for AI on WhatsApp: Basic billed monthly (₹1,500) and the AI Chat Agent add-on (₹1,350), which includes 1,000 AI messages; its AI agents page's FAQ says 3,500. Every WhatsApp number gets 1,000 service messages a month without WhatsApp's fee, then ₹0.145 each.
Dhanur AI

Set-up

AiSensy
Self-serve sign-up, with no fee to get the WhatsApp Business API. The AI agent is set up in 7 steps: add your business details and website, upload PDFs and documents, choose its tone, test it on up to 3 numbers with 500 AI messages, then publish.
Dhanur AI
Create a workspace on the web. Paste your website address, or teach your agent by chatting: answer its questions, or send a photo of your rate card, a PDF or a link. Templates come with ready tests.

WhatsApp

AiSensy
Its core product: the official WhatsApp Business API on your own number, with broadcasts, a shared team inbox, Click-to-WhatsApp ads, catalogues and payments. An Indian virtual number costs ₹2,000 plus GST a year if you need one.

Its AI agents page says the AI agent replies in English only for now: it understands a question in Hindi and answers in English, with full multi-language replies "coming soon".
Dhanur AI

Dhanur AI
Live. Each action can go ahead on its own, ask first, or ask and then go ahead after a wait. Approve, edit or reject in Tasks, and set approval limits by amount.

Fair is fair

Where AiSensy is stronger

  • Your own WhatsApp number, today

You connect your number yourself, and its ₹0 plan gets you the WhatsApp Business API. On Dhanur AI, WhatsApp is a pilot and our team connects each number.

  • Broadcasts, retargeting and ads

Broadcasting and retargeting from Basic, a Meta ads manager, and AI agents that draft campaigns and ads for you to review. We don't send bulk offer messages or run ads.

  • A shared team inbox and phone apps

1 owner and 5 agents on Basic, with chats moved between people and watched by managers, and apps for Android and iOS. Our Tasks inbox is for approvals and hand-overs, not a shared chat inbox, and our app is on Google Play for Android.

  • Selling inside WhatsApp

Catalogues, cart management, WhatsApp forms and payments by WhatsApp Pay, Razorpay or PayU. Taking orders in the chat is planned for Dhanur Business, with a pilot from 12 November; it isn't live.

  • Certifications and scale

Its home page says SOC 2 compliant and ISO 27001 certified, and its site says more than 2 lakh businesses use it. We hold no certification yet.

And the other side

Where we fit better

  • Replies in Hindi and Hinglish

Agents reply in English, Hindi or Hinglish, in the language the customer writes in, and find answers in your information in all three.

  • No monthly plan or add-on

About ₹1.2 to ₹2.4 a reply on the Smart level, plus WhatsApp's fee only past a number's first 1,000 replies a month (about ₹0.18 a reply), from credits you top up from ₹50. Start with ₹25 of free credits.

  • Your OK on replies, not only campaigns

Any action, including a reply to a customer, can wait for your approval. Edit a reply before you approve it, or ask first only above an amount you set.

  • A rupee price on every task

Every task and every step shows what it cost, so you can see what each enquiry cost you.

  • More than WhatsApp

Website chat, a chat link with a QR code, email, Google Calendar bookings and leads with email follow-ups, all live today.

  • Teach it like you'd teach a person

Answer its questions, or send a photo of your rate card, a PDF or a link. Each fact waits for your OK before agents use it.

Does Dhanur AI work on WhatsApp?

Only in our pilot. For a small number of workspaces, our team connects a WhatsApp number to your agent. You can't connect your own number from the app yet; that is next. Today you can share your chat link on WhatsApp, and customers chat with your agent on a web page.

Does Dhanur AI send WhatsApp broadcasts?

No. We don't send bulk offer messages. Our agents answer the customers who write to you, and follow up leads by email, at most twice for each lead. For broadcasts and Click-to-WhatsApp ads, AiSensy does more.

Where is my data kept?

The AiSensy pages we read don't say where data is stored; AiSensy is an Indian company based in Gurugram. Dhanur AI's app servers are in Mumbai and its engine and databases are in Bengaluru. The AI work itself is done by Anthropic, and some other providers work outside India; our data and privacy page lists them.
