Dhanur AI

For clinics

An AI receptionist for your clinic

Patients ask the same things every day: timings, fees, which doctor is in. An AI receptionist answers them in writing on your website chat and chat link, from your clinic's own pages, and books appointments on your Google Calendar in the hours you set. It is set up not to give medical advice: it suggests a consultation and hands medical questions to your team. It says it is an AI, and it doesn't take phone calls.

Who it's for

Is this you?

  • Small clinics, dental practices and physiotherapy centres
  • Clinics with a website or a chat link where patients write in
  • Front desks that spend the day on timings, fees and "is the doctor in on Saturday?"
  • Owners who want every booking and every hand-over on record

The problem

In your words

  • Patients message at night asking for a slot, and nobody replies until we open.
  • My front desk answers the same three questions all day.
  • I can't hire a full-time receptionist just for chats and enquiries.
  • I don't want a bot giving medical advice to my patients.

An example, not a customer

An example clinic in Pune

A two-doctor skin and hair clinic in Pune. The clinic is made up, to show how the jobs fit together. Every step uses something that is live today.

  1. Fri, 8:40 am

    Answers before the clinic opens

A patient on the website chat asks whether the skin doctor sees patients on Saturday and what a consultation costs. The agent says it is an AI, looks up the clinic's doctors table and fees page, and answers.

  2. Fri, 8:42 am

    Books a slot

The patient asks for Saturday morning. The agent offers three open times from the clinic's Google Calendar, inside the hours the clinic set, takes the patient's name, phone and email, and books 11 am, the time they pick.

  3. Fri, 11:15 am

    Hands over a medical question

Another patient asks which cream to use for a rash. The agent doesn't suggest one. It offers a consultation and, as the clinic's instructions say, hands the conversation to the front desk with the reason.

  4. Fri, 1:30 pm

    Replies with the doctor's answer

Between patients, the receptionist opens the task and writes the agent a private note: the doctor can see the patient on Saturday. The agent replies to the patient in its own words.

  5. Fri, 7:00 pm

    Leaves a record

Tasks shows every conversation, each booking and hand-over, and what each one cost in rupees.

  6. Sat, 8:00 am

    Reminds the patient

Three hours before the 11 am appointment, the agent emails the patient a reminder with the time in India time.

What it does

Each job, and where it stands today

Live works in the app today. Pilot works today for a small number of workspaces. Next is being built now. Planned is on the plan, with no date.

  • Answer from your clinic's own pages

    Live

Reads your website, or the pages you pick, and answers timings, fees, doctors' days and directions from them. It names the page it used, and can read the pages again every week or month.

    How it works
  • Look up doctors and timings

    Live

Keep doctors, specialities, days and fees in a table, typed in or imported from Excel or CSV, and the agent answers "Is the dentist in on Sunday?" from your own rows.

    How it works
  • Book appointments on Google Calendar

    Live

Offers open times in the hours, days and appointment length you set, checks the time is still open, and books it with the patient's name and phone or email. In early access: Google shows an unverified-app warning when you connect.

    How it works
  • Or take requests your front desk confirms

    Live

If your desk confirms every slot by phone, start from the Clinic and salon bookings template. It takes the patient's preferred time, tells your team, and is set never to confirm a slot itself.

    How it works
  • Hand medical questions to your team

    Live

The clinic template's instructions tell it not to diagnose or suggest medicines, to suggest a consultation instead, and to tell anyone describing an emergency to call 112. It hands over reports, prescriptions and questions about a past treatment. Ready tests that check this come with it, to run before you publish.

    How it works
  • Email a reminder before the appointment

    Live

Emails patients who gave an email address before their appointment, 3 hours ahead unless you change it. If the booking is deleted from your calendar, no reminder goes.

    How it works
  • Reply in English, Hindi or Hinglish

    Live

Answers in the language the patient writes in, and says it is an AI in its first reply.

  • Answer on WhatsApp

    Pilot

On a WhatsApp number our team connects, for a small number of workspaces. You can't connect your own number from the app yet.

    How it works
  • Remind patients on WhatsApp

    Planned

Not built yet. Reminders go by email today.

  • Answer phone calls

    Planned

Voice and phone agents are planned, with no date. Today it works in writing only.

Every feature and its status is on the feature status page.

You stay in charge

What stays with you

  • Reports, prescriptions, questions about a past treatment and emergencies go to your team, with the reason. List in its instructions any other medical questions it should hand over.
  • You choose whether bookings go straight onto the calendar or wait for your OK in Tasks.
  • You choose whether replies go out on their own or wait for your approval, and you can edit a reply before you approve it.
  • You write once what no agent may say or promise, such as a diagnosis, a result or a discount.
  • When it hands a patient over, you can write it a private note and it replies to the patient in its own words.

Before you decide

Good to know

  • It answers in writing: website chat, a chat link with a QR code, and email. It doesn't take phone calls.
  • It doesn't answer Instagram DMs. Answering on WhatsApp is a pilot, on numbers our team connects.
  • While you connect Google Calendar, Google says it hasn't verified our app yet. Select Continue to go on. Until Google's review is complete, at most 100 Google accounts can connect.
  • It sees only when your calendar is busy, never what your other events are.
  • Aadhaar, PAN, card and bank numbers and OTPs that patients type are hidden from the AI by default.
